The BP-2i is a 7.2 volt 600mAh replacement rechargeable Ni-Cd insert for the old ICOM BP-2 battery pack (the one with NO plug jacks). This insert has E-Z solder tabs, and since the old BP-2 unscrews open, rebuilding/installation is fairly easy.
