Hard to tell if its real Japanese White Akoya but they are true to size and look nice with a good buff/sheen on them. Fiance liked them so at its price point, these were good.These earrings are magnificent! I got the 9-9.5mm size to go with a graduated pearl necklace. These are plenty big, snow white, and just gorgeous. The friction backs are sturdy. Can't say enough about just how nice they are. They would make a great gift.Beautiful, great price.The pearls are beautiful and have a wonderful luster. The posts are very long and somewhat uncomfortable.They were pretty but they were just too big for my wife's ears. I sent them back and bought a slightly smaller size. Yesterday when I was taking them off before showering, the stem attached to the pearl popped off of one of the earrings.
