I ordered this unit because the price was much more attractive than Subaru direct or general auto parts stores (like 60% less). After installing it in my car however, the dashboard charging indicator was still lit (battery symbol) indicating that something was still wrong. Measuring the battery with the engine running showed 15.5v (too high), so I reached out to the seller for support. After several rounds of back and forth emails, the support person helped me determine that the car's wiring harness had been modified and mis-wired by a previous owner. After correcting the car's wiring, it now works perfectly!
